Talents Tokyo launched in 2011 as the sole Asian edition of Berlinale Talents, a talent development program of the Berlin International Film Festival. Talents Tokyo strives to foster talented Asian film directors and producers who have the potential to become great masters of film in the future. The project brings together 15 promising filmmakers to Tokyo to help them build their networks. Over the course of six days, they immerse themselves into learning about film through lectures and joint reviews given by film professionals and screenings at TOKYO FILMeX.
This project in FY2017 , FY2018 and FY2019 is certified as beyond 2020 program.
