“Time of others”

"Time of others" is an exhibition organized as a collaborative project between the Museum of Contemporary Art, Tokyo, the National Museum of Art, Osaka, the Singapore Art Museum, the Queensland Art Gallery | Gallery of Modern Art and the Japan Foundation Asia Center. This exhibition is co-curated by 4 young curators from the 4 museums and attempts to turn an attentive gaze toward the complex links within Asia while the progressive globalization is more influential. The exhibition started in Tokyo in April 2015 and travels to Osaka (July – September 2015), Singapore (November 2015 – February 2016) and Brisbane (June – September 2016) and introduces artworks by approximately 20 artists in Asia-Pacific region, including the collections from the 4 museums.
